IDEC SANTÉ has delivered an ambitious project for PARFUMS CHRISTIAN DIOR, marking an important milestone in the development of this iconic Maison. The project illustrates IDEC SANTÉ’s ability to support leading names in the cosmetics industry with tailor-made solutions combining technical performance and a unique architectural signature.
Delivery of a new centre of excellence
PARFUMS CHRISTIAN DIOR, the iconic Maison dedicated to the creation of perfumes and cosmetics, entrusted IDEC SANTÉ with the turnkey design and construction of new laboratories in Saint-Jean-de-Braye, near Orléans. Located just outside Orléans, this site manufactures almost all PARFUMS CHRISTIAN DIOR perfumes and cosmetics marketed worldwide, bringing together experts who perpetuate the Maison’s unique know-how across every stage of the manufacturing process.
A unique architectural signature
This project stands out through its refined aesthetic and architectural design, reflecting the identity of PARFUMS CHRISTIAN DIOR. Designed by the IDEC SANTÉ teams, the facility combines elegance and functionality to embody the values of the Maison, with carefully designed structural and decorative elements creating a strong visual identity. The teams successfully integrated the DNA of PARFUMS CHRISTIAN DIOR into a building that reflects its prestige and exceptional attention to detail.
A 5,500 sq m development
The 5,500 sq m project is organised around office space, work areas and laboratories dedicated to microbiology, sensory analysis and physico-chemical testing, optimising the quality control of PARFUMS CHRISTIAN DIOR products. This high-tech facility is structured into several specialised areas to meet the Maison’s precise requirements, with dedicated zones for testing and quality control. Designed around large open-plan workspaces, the facility encourages collaboration while providing an optimal working environment, enabling PARFUMS CHRISTIAN DIOR’s teams to carry out their expertise under exemplary working and safety conditions.
Twenty-eight months of construction
The delivery of this project mobilised IDEC SANTÉ’s teams over a period of 28 months, during which several key phases were carried out simultaneously. Each stage was carefully coordinated to meet the project schedule and fulfil PARFUMS CHRISTIAN DIOR’s expectations. Delivered on an occupied and operational site, this project involved numerous technical and logistical challenges, demonstrating IDEC SANTÉ’s commitment to delivering high-quality facilities for its clients.
