Pharmadec, designer and constructor of turnkey buildings for the healthcare, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, just delivered a building to Aspen.
This major player in the pharmaceutical industry, whose premises in Notre Dame de Bondeville (northern France – Seine-Maritime department) specialize in manufacturing injectable medications, needed the new business premises to meet its growth objectives.
The focus of the project carried out by Pharmadec’s teams was to design and construct a new building connected via a gallery to an existing production area. Dedicated to physico-chemical and micro-biological quality control, this new central element of Aspen’s production site consists of three laboratory areas covering more than 1,000m² (chemical controls, micro-biological controls and sterility checks), storage areas, a sample library (approximately 300m²) and more than 500m² of offices and staff areas.
It took 14 months to construct this laboratory building that is subject to ICPE (40 m3 alcohol per week) and adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices.
