A private partner of POLEPHARMA since 2012, IDEC SANTÉ, a subsidiary of GROUPE IDEC, has built a long-term relationship with France’s leading cluster dedicated to the (bio)pharmaceutical industry. This partnership is based on a shared ambition to support industry stakeholders in addressing their industrial, technological and environmental challenges. As part of this commitment, GROUPE IDEC, POLEPHARMA, HELIUP and APTAR PHARMA jointly hosted a webinar on 5 February dedicated to the environmental performance of industrial sites. The event provided an opportunity to discuss solutions capable of accelerating the decarbonisation of existing facilities without disrupting business operations.
Collective expertise supporting the transformation of industrial sites
As a turnkey designer and contractor, IDEC SANTÉ supports companies operating in the life sciences, cosmetics and healthcare sectors with the delivery of production facilities, laboratories, cleanrooms and storage areas. Its partnership with POLEPHARMA reflects a strong commitment to providing innovative solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the industry.
The webinar brought together several complementary areas of expertise around a common objective. Opening the session, Guillaume Deroudille, Pharmaceutical Affairs and Environmental Performance Manager in charge of the POLEPHARMA GIPSO network, presented the pharmaceutical industry’s guidelines and roadmap for addressing current environmental challenges.
Continuing the discussion, Laurent Bichard presented the environmental, energy and regulatory challenges facing the industry, together with the context, impacts and possible solutions to preserve the competitiveness of highly energy-intensive industrial companies.

These discussions then introduced the new energy renovation and rooftop solar offering for existing buildings developed by GROUPE IDEC through its subsidiary GROUPE IDEC ENR SOLAR. The objective is to transform industrial roofs into genuine drivers of both economic and environmental performance through photovoltaic solutions specifically adapted to buildings that remain fully operational during installation.
The event was further enriched by the feedback shared by Benjamin Ozanne, Head of Facilities, Energy Management and Site Security at APTAR PHARMA. His presentation provided a practical illustration of both the technical feasibility and the industrial benefits of integrating photovoltaic solutions on operational manufacturing sites.

HELIUP provides an innovative photovoltaic solution to enhance existing rooftops
A key highlight of the webinar was the presentation by Maryline Joanny, who showcased the solution developed by HELIUP: an ultra-lightweight photovoltaic technology that is innovative, certified, insurable, durable and capable of delivering performance equivalent to conventional photovoltaic panels.
This solution is particularly well suited to roofs with limited load-bearing capacity and significantly expands the possibilities for installing photovoltaic systems on existing buildings without requiring major structural modifications. This innovation opens up new opportunities for industrial companies wishing to decarbonise their facilities without undertaking extensive structural works. It enables businesses to produce and self-consume renewable energy while enhancing the value of their existing real estate assets and improving the overall environmental performance of their industrial sites.
Through this webinar, GROUPE IDEC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting stakeholders across the pharmaceutical industry by developing practical, sustainable solutions tailored to today’s industrial challenges.
IDEC SANTÉ would like to thank POLEPHARMA for organising this event, for the quality of the discussions and for its continued trust, as well as all the speakers and participants who contributed to promoting a more efficient and more sustainable healthcare industry.
